(1pm) I finally got that insurance check I have been waiting on. (Yeah!) (What wonderful timing.)
Now it's laundry time.

(2am) I decided to splurge.
I took myself to the fair. (I wandered around for about three hours, watching the horse races, girl watching, pigging out on all sorts of foods, drinking beer, and checking out the exhibits. (Great!))
I ran into Chuck and his wife at the horse races and had a nice visit with them. (Nice.)
I ran into Erica, Henry, Miranda, Charlotte, and Gwynn as the races ended and I had a few more beers and visited with them. (Also nice.)
After the fair I went to Miranda's with her, Erica and Gwynn, caught a buzz, talked, and watched them try out the hula-hoop. (Yum.)
Then I went downtown to Corky’s with Miranda and Gwynn.
We ran into Carly and Ross there and I had a nice visit with them. (I think the reason Carly reminds me of Carrie a bit is that she touches me a lot.)
I bs'd with a couple other people I know.
I also started some more poems.
All in all, it was the most wonderful day in a very long time!
(8am) One fellow last nite commented that he thought the improvement he noticed in me (I hadn't seen him in about a year), was because I am not doing accounting anymore. (Could be, working with numbers and computers every day does do something to a person.)
People still seem to talk to me about their problems a lot. (e.g., a lot of what Miranda and I talked about was how she is progressing in getting over her old beau.)-(e.g., one woman I don't know was telling me all about how her hubby has the seven-year itch.) (I enjoy that, and I am glad that hasn't changed. (I may not be able to cope with physical intimacy, but at least there is still emotional intimacy in my life.))
I was pretty comfortable at Corky’s last nite. (Neat.) (It helps a lot to go out with friends!) (I knew most of the women who were there, which probably helped also. (Maybe it's wrong to only become comfortable with women I know don't want me as a lover, but it's all I am capable of now, and I have to be thankful that I am at least capable of that!))
(9am) I did some work on last nite's poems, but couldn't finish any. (Now I have got eleven started and unfinished.)
