(7pm) Erica stopped by for a couple games of Yahtzee. (Neat!)
(8pm) Beer tastes real good tonite.
People sometimes complain about catching colds and flu as a result of being around others, but it’s really a small price to pay for companionship. (If it was really worse for the health, people who live alone would longer lives instead of shorter one’s.)

(9pm) I got a letter from Samantha today. (She is bored!)-(Leo’s band has been traveling a lot and now they are playing down in Colorado and Utah. (She is missing him.)) (She asked me to come over for a visit, but I can’t afford that now.)
"60 minutes" the other nite said that apples are sprayed with something that causes cancer. (Figures!)-(I like one fruit and it’s bad for me.)

(5pm) I am starting to feel less than well.
I am tired of this wind! (I can deal with cold and snow, but I don’t like the wind!)
The frig has been freezing the beer. (That is getting old!)
(6pm) So far this week I have gotten three more rejection letters from publishers.
