(10pm) Carly called and I went over to get them hi. (I ended up having a few brews and dinner with them. (Nice evening.))

(Midnite) Quiet nite. (Nice.)

(1pm) Time for an editing break.

According to the paper, the city finance officer job is open here. (That would be perfect for me!)

(4pm) Nice sun tanning session.

(7pm) Erica stopped by to visit. (Nice!)

I finished the second edit on the "Feelings" poems. (I think I will do one more. (I think once more is about all I can stand of them.))

(8pm) Samantha called and bs'd. (They went to the Dylan/Dead concert last weekend and had a great time. (Good for them!)) (She still wants me to come down next week for Sweet Pea. (Maybe next year.))

(11pm) Quiet nite. (Nice.)

(11am) Busy morning. (I caught up with my pen pals, filled out the forms to register with four employment agencies (two in Seattle and two in Phoenix), got together an application for the city job here, and wrote the County asking them to send letters of recommendation to the City for me.)

Quotes:

Mark Vonnegut, "Eden express"-"... my stress tolerance had been whittled down to nothing!"

"... what you eat, how much sleep you get, and similarly pedestrian factors are what matter." (I know that eating better and exercising have helped me. (Tis amazing what changes in body chemistry can do to the personality!))

(1pm) Time for an editing break.

(3pm) Nice workout.

I have become so obsessed with "Feelings" that I have been skipping my long walks. (I will have to force myself back to that.)

Carly and I were talking about living with an alcoholic. (Her beau, who was one, was in the state treatment center about the same time as my ex.) (She mentioned an article I had also read that said nine out of ten women living with an alcoholic stay, while nine out of ten men living with one leaves. (I wonder why that is? (My guess would be the financial advantages that men usually have over women.)))

(7pm) Enough editing for now.
