(5pm) I took the afternoon off from work, laid out and worked on my suntan, and read.

(9pm) I took a cruise down to Belgrade and collected $75 from one of my tax clients down there. (We bs'd, had a couple drinks, and his girlfriend cooked us up some steaks.) (He says he may have a line on a hooker for me.) (And she says she has a girlfriend who is a "road whore", who might do me, but first she has to cure the case of the clap she is currently suffering from.)

How is it that some guys treat women like shit, yet get laid on a regular basis; while I treat women nicely, and never get laid?

(8am) Yesterday I went over to Leo's and bs'd with him and Samantha for awhile.

Then Samantha and I went to one of our old partying buddies wedding reception. (There was one older woman there who I have been in lust with for years. (Yum.)) (Twas nice seeing so many people I know in one place.)

After the reception, Samantha and I went back to my place and I fixed dinner.

Then Samantha split and I took myself to the Paw. (The girl watching was excellent, and I ran into a couple fellows I know from the old days. (Fun.))

(8am) Yesterday was pretty blasé. (I walked a bunch and finished reading a biography of Janis Joplin.)

Quote:

Martin Heidegger-"Poets are the mortals who, singing earnestly of the wine-god, sense the trace of the fugitive gods, stay on the god's tracks, and so trace for their kindred mortals the way toward the turning."

(9pm) Carrie called and visited. (She hasn't started work yet and she is bored.) (She says she is exchanging calls and letters with Hunter. (She says he is already complaining about being tired of Milwaukee. (He is planning on coming back here this fall, working until Carrie graduates in December, and then the two of them are going to move to California so she can go to graduate school there.)))-(She says she is going to Milwaukee in a month or so to visit Hunter and to meet his mom. (I hope it works out for them.))
